I am diligently informed about the PSC, but I must say that there is very little to be found about it. This disease is still much rarer and apparently also more violent than the AIH.
But now I have a lot in mind. Anyone who has read the previous posts here knows there have been some unexplained fever and colic in our girl. Now, in retrospect, thinking about it, it is very likely that it was bile thaw. The symptoms fit in any case.
Also, that our girl in the MRI images already Pearl cord-like changes of the bile ducts shows, suggests that she is already not so much in the early stages of the PSC.
Now to something positive.
Our girl has completed the 2 weeks internship without getting sick! The first internship she has completly done! We are very proud. And it was really exhausting for her. If she had a late evening between 15:30 and 17:00, she was usually already in bed at 7/8 pm.
Nevertheless, we look positively into the future. Their marks on the testimony were really great! She has notes, I would have dreamed of earlier. We are sure, the now trampled career path is the right thing for her.
And at some point we will meet the desire for a dog. This will do as well to our souls.
