On Monday last week Laura had a check-up at the Gastro. Actually today I wanted to check the latest blood values and post my posting here about the appointment and the latest values ... but usually it comes differently than you think ...

Yesterday evening at 9 pm Laura came to me. A little pale around the nose. She had a stomachache ... so we made her a hot water bottle and waited a little ... at 10 pm she came down ... slightly crooked walk, arms in front of her stomach, on the face more of a walking cheesecake ... she said, that the hot water bottle brings nothing. What now? I did not want to give up yet, so I gave her a Novalgin tablet and said, "Let's see if that helps" ... unfortunately, it got worse by the minute and you could watch her bounce more and more and always pale in the face ... then came chills and I was clear ... there is no way passing the hospital.

Since I know from painful experience, our two hospitals here in town you can forget about something I drove with her directly to the neighboring city. Thought "Well ... we were in good hands in Bethel at the Children's Hospital for a long time, they also said that they have a great adult doctor for such things ... you better go there ... you know the way" done ... Child writhing and moaning with a bucket in the arm on the back seat ... Laura was now deadly pale ...... her was nausea ... I arrived there parked directly in front of the entrance, I did not care. .. Then I somehow dragged her in there, straight to the ambulance ... explained what's going on and then all in a panic .... The sister was totally desperate ... "You have unerringly selecteded the only hospital WITHOUT Gastro in Bielefeld ".... Me "???" They have split that ... one this, the other that ..... Then I let describe me the way to the next and as soon as possible achievable hospital with Gastro .... child again under the arm, which could hardly still running ..... to the car .... Laura moaning and yamming then she demanded to be brought with the ambulance ..... then I went with her to another hospital, they were really great .... They took care of her immediately ... She got a drip with Novalgin, blood tests were made, an ultrasound, in which a liver cyst was found, which apparently was not seen in November .... then at some point the doctor came and said Laura is so pale, trembles, she has to stay .... Liver levels were in Dec. just above normal ... last night at 190 ....

This morning she lay right back on the Novalgin drip, because she was in pain again. It was then again blood taken, again made ultrasound, where then directly in the bile ducts sediments were found and now Laura has to go tomorrow in the MRT. And I think, then it will decide how to go on. After the second drip she was "free"  of pain  (she says she can stand it well). The first thing she was allowed to eat was lunch and that, just as dinner sup- posed her well.

Tomorrow I'm going there and hope I find out how it goes on ... because of the liver values, because of the sediments and all in all ....
